She was walking slowly and we were clicking. We anticipate she will go to the pond to drink water so that we will get a clear view as we were standing very near to the lake.
She stopped for couple of seconds curiously looking at the other end of the water body. Suddenly she spotted a deer in the other side of the pond. Ooh my god; what is going on…
The next movement was very fast. She just ran to the spotted deer. The deer was just went into the green grass and it didn’t had any idea from where the attack is going to happen.
Maya just jumped upon the deer and that’s it. It was so easy for her; a simple kill. She just sat there for two minutes and took the prey and started walking to the pond.
Ooh my god; whatz happening??? She just enter into the pond and dropped the deer. She just relaxed for few minutes and drank water
Again she picked the deer and slowly walked to the grass. We were clicking the entire action. Now the other vehicles started coming and it was fully crowded.
Once it disappeared, we were just hugging each other and thanking god for the wonderful moments. Sudhir sir said, wait some more time; she will come out again!!! We waited there for another one hour and she came out from the grass.
She walked to the pond and did some stretching and for the first time she gave a look at us. She went into water and took rest for about 15 minutes and again want back to the grass
Ohh god; we had 63 hours of safari in past 4 days and we didn’t get anything. The last one hour, we got everything. The unluckiest guys in the team turned to luckiest within one hour. Unbelievable…
It was more than enough for me to remember the entire trip lifelong. Almost all the shot which I got was in focus and was decent enough. The whole action happened little bit far from us but I could able to manage to take some good shots with 500 mm range.
These moments will be safe in my heart for a long time for sure. Otherwise the entire trip could have been a disaster. Thank god once again… I have the entire action sequence here http://www.sandizworld.com/tiger-with-kill/
